Calendars for Kids Recycling Program - Help Us Help Teachers Help Kids

Round Rock, TX - eCals has created a new recycling program to
benefit educators and children around the world and reduce our
trash by utilizing the Internet.

Educators have been contacting eCals wanting to know how to
acquire old calendars to use for educational programs for
their students.

In response, eCals, a popular calendar web site, has introduced
their new Calendars for Kids Recycling ProgramTM. This program
allows educators of kindergarten through sixth grade to
collect and use old calendars and allows donors to recycle and
help educators and children.

Educators of home, private and public schools interested in
becoming a recycling center can sign up in less than 5 minutes at
http://www.ecals.com/recycle.htm. Educators can specify the type
of calendars they want to collect and the type they do NOT want
to collect. They can also share with other teachers how they
plan on using the calendars for educating their students.

Once an educator registers as a recycling center they will be
eligible to win prizes from eCals. Details can be found on the
web site. The program is completely free to educators and donors.

The Calendars for Kids Recycling Program allows people
the opportunity to donate their old calendars for a good
cause and recycle at the same time. Donors may search for
recycling centers, identify and contact the person requesting
the calendars, then ship or drop off their calendars to the
recycling centers. They may even discover their own children's
teachers are wanting old calendars and can send them to school
with their kids.

Educators and donors may tell there friends about the program
via eCals Tell-A-Friend feature and when their friends visit the
site the person who informed the friend will be registered to win
eGrip's Get a Grip on Life! Grand Prize, a Handspring Visor
handheld computer.

The eCals site is home to more than 10,000 organizational items,
including calendars, organizers, almanacs, day timers, palmtops
and software. To help visitors get organized the items have
been grouped into more than 250 categories. eCals, truly a
virtual e-tailer, maintains no inventory, no personnel and no
real overhead. The site is rebuilt weekly to keep the content
fresh, providing visitors something new with every visit.
